Darren Burke Took Pole Position & A New Lap Record At Brands Hatch On Sunday...

Darren Burke had an impressive Historic Formula Ford debut at Brands Hatch on Sunday. Burke had been draughted into the PA Motorsport Team to drive a works Macon MR8. Whilst Burke had never driven the Brands Hatch GP circuit before testing on friday he still managed to beat reigning Formula Ford Duratec Champion Callum Macleod to pole position at the Kent circuit.

After a titanic race where both drivers traded the lead Burke managed to take fastest lap of 1.39.163 to set a new lap record by over 7 tenths of a second in his PA Motorsport prepared and run Macon MR8 Auriga.
